Frequently Asked Questions

You’re likely ready if you’re feeling a pull toward growth—even if you’re not sure what it looks like yet. Maybe you’re at a crossroads, navigating a transition, or craving clarity around what’s next. Coaching isn’t about being “broken” or needing fixing—it’s about being ready to explore, shift, and take aligned action. If you’re open to curiosity, reflection, and doing the work, coaching could be a great fit.

Great question—these terms often get blurred.
Coaching focuses on helping you tap into your own wisdom, set meaningful goals, and move forward with intention. It’s future-focused and action-oriented.
Consulting is more advice-driven—someone tells you what to do based on expertise.
Therapy often looks at the past and works to heal emotional or psychological pain.
Mentoring involves guidance from someone who’s “been there” and offers their own experience as a model.
Coaching is a partnership—you’re the expert in your life, and I’m here to help you unlock what’s already within you.

It starts with a complimentary discovery call to make sure we’re a good fit. From there, we’ll create a coaching agreement and map out your goals, values, and vision. Sessions are 50 minutes, held bi-weekly or monthly. You’ll leave each one with insights, action steps, and greater clarity. Our partnership is grounded in trust, accountability, and celebrating your wins—every step of the way.

An International Coaching Federation (ICF) certified coach (like me!) is trained in professional coaching competencies including deep listening, powerful questioning, goal-setting, and ethical practice. I hold space without judgment, reflect back what I hear, challenge limiting beliefs, and help you stay aligned with your values.
Certification also means ongoing a minimum requirement of coaching hours, testing, continued education/development and accountability to a professional code of ethics.

Your role is to show up authentically, stay curious, and commit to your own growth. Coaching works best when you bring honesty—about what’s working, what’s not, and where you feel stuck. You don’t need to have it all figured out. Just be willing to explore, reflect, and experiment.
-
Together, we’ll define what success looks like for you. That might be reaching a specific goal, shifting a mindset, showing up differently in your relationships or work, or simply feeling more aligned with your life. We'll check in regularly to reflect on growth and course-correct as needed.

Sure! We’ll begin by centering and checking in. I’ll ask specific questions to get a better understanding on what you are looking to accomplish and where your focus is at the moment. From there, we explore your topic with curiosity and depth. I’ll reflect back what I’m hearing, ask questions that unlock insight, and help you identify next steps. We always end with what you’re taking away—and how you want to move forward.

Yes! Between-session communication is part of the magic. Updates sent to me related to accountability, wins, or “I just had a breakthrough!” moments are important! It’s like having a coach in your corner, not just in your calendar.
Between sessions if clients want to ask questions, share your story, or bounce some ideas around, they are encouraged to do so via email and I’ll respond within 48 business hours (Mon – Fri) or sooner if I can! If your email requires a call we can discuss a mini-session (25mins) or a one off 1:1 (50mins).
